Watched this movie....Saladin is a great Arab & Muslim leader...

 

 

 

An Arab Christian fight alongside with an arab Muslim from the foreign crusaders invaders...

Nice classic foreign movie. Thanks for the links.

 

Can see that Egypt, where the film was made, was actually quite a modern and progressive country in the past - with a film industry, etc. - considering the region where it is located. But now because of politicking and rising fundamentalism, it is regressing backwards and becoming rather dangerous even for tourism. Quite sad.

The movie called Kingdom in Heaven starring Orlando Bloom also about that era and him, although how true to history I dunno lah.
