B'cos that's peak hours for motorist rush in to MY.... 😁

custom would not see it as "peak hour"

else they would step up capacity to 110%

even a simple app has the trend of peak and non-peak and real time data

isn't sinkieland always advocate to use big data to do their jobs effectively?

My experience at woodland check point. if everyone follow their lane and queue, it is fairly smooth although you just have to wait if there are more vehicles. problem starts when some try to cut queue, that interrupt the flow. The 'cut queue' situation happens at specific spots, merging lanes and at the end of the bridge where vehicle using the motorcycle lanes try to cut back into the car lane. On coming back, once you cleared the custom, if you are on the right side, you are forced to turn right down the woodland town centre traffic light and then cross over to the flyover to go onto BKE. Whilst if you are on the left, you can get onto BKE directly.

Knowing this problem, can't the authority make some additional revenue by placing CCTV or police to issue summons? Malaysia side is a different story and something we cannot interfere.

I am sure many netizens would also be triggered if at 5am can see all the counters open big big. How can waste money like that really wasting our resources. I always say must strike balance but that is very impossible to please everyone lah. To me, some things you know I know can already.

Not asking for more but at least 10 counters open..... 😎

I went in 3 days (weekdays) before Xmas for a 1 day trip to Yong Peng. Arrived at 6.00 am at Tuas Checkpoints, D2 (Departure Complex) opened. D1, D3 & D4 Closed.

D2 is for leaving Singapore. Only 6 counters open (3 on the left & 3 on the right) out of 16 counters. 4 lanes traffic squeeze to 2 lanes and than 2 lanes squeeze to 1 lane each side (left & right), sure jam lor... 😪

Queue from the checkpoint to AYE before going up ramp. Caught in that jam for 55 minutes.

I don't understand why a minister can give such remarks. If you have a system and people didn't obey the system, you issue summons. Will there be inconsiderate drivers? If you don't apply your rules, obviously you are inviting motorists to do whatever they want.

never have i seen queue cutters getting the ticket, worse still, now the sign has been removed where it used to be hung on the flyover into woodlands

Ya.....

Even their simple app like Road Cam also not accurate.... 😑

From monitor look clear traffic and upon reaching there, jam... 😣

Maybe everybody look at cam and see no jam, all rush there at the same time causing the jam again.  😁

So, every time I am going in to MY, I will starts at 5.00 am in the morning. Take the risk of 2 hours or more jam and by then, 7.30 am. Can have nice breakfast of Tim Sum at Gelang Patah. 😋😋

The reason for the jam is people with no business being in JB

like this cry baby clogging up the place.

He would have been better off staying in SG.

JB Massage Parlour Staff Allegedly Touch S’pore Customers Inappropriately & Question Their Sexuality

Masseuses At JB Massage Parlour Allegedly Touch Singapore Customers In Private Area

For many Singaporeans, Johor Bahru (JB) is a popular destination for a quick getaway, whether that includes delectable food or a soothing massage.

But a trip across the Causeway turned sour for a group of travellers when they visited a massage parlour recently.

A few of them claimed that their masseuses offered them “special services”, which left them feeling uncomfortable.

Despite turning down the offer, a masseuse still touched one of them inappropriately in his private area and even questioned his sexuality.

JB massage parlour masseuse touches customer’s genitals

Recounting her experience, an MS News reader, Eileen Ong (not her real name), shared that she and nine other friends – comprising both males and females – visited a massage parlour in JB in the early hours of Monday (2 Jan).

Initially, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. She described everything as “great”, including the ambience and cleanliness of the place.

But after everyone finished their massages, the group learned that their male friends were offered extra services by their respective masseuses.

One of them apparently burst into tears, claiming he was touched inappropriately despite explicitly telling his masseuse not to do so.

The female masseuse allegedly touched his private parts twice during the session.

Sensing that he wasn’t aroused, she allegedly “opened his pants” to check his genitals and asked if he was gay.

Staff appeared “insincere” when customers confronted them

Having learnt about their male friends’ experiences, the group returned to the massage parlour and confronted a staff member at the counter.

However, Ms Ong claimed that they appeared insincere and continuously denied providing extra services.

Sometime later, the boss arrived at the massage parlour but allegedly seemed unapologetic. He also appeared “indifferent” when the group threatened to report the incident.

In sharing their account, Ms Ong said she hopes to raise awareness of the existence of such establishments. She also wanted to highlight that men can be victims of sexual assault too.

Other customers leave similar reviews

A search on Google Maps revealed similar experiences by other customers.

This user who left a review to warn others claimed that his masseuse kept making “suggestive massage moves around his (my) manhood”.

Another customer said the masseuse assigned to him was “rude and obnoxious”. He ended up getting a shorter session after he turned down the ‘happy ending’.
