Will you pass a re-test today? (driving)

You guys may have between 1-30 years of driving experience, or more. If you take the test again today, what chances you think you will pass, 80%, or less? Or 100% sure pass?

If your answer is not 100% or 110%, what mistakes you think will likely fail you?

My chances are 50/50, due to:-

A. Failure to give signals

B. Failure to make full stop coming out from side road

C. Failure to keep eyes on the road full time (this one really can't be help, too many XMM around

D. 90% of the other items on the tester's Checklist [:(]

Moral of the story:- drive naturally, no wayanging? :D

Neither because I think I can make the tester die of a heart attack before the test is over. [laugh]

Come to think of it, such re-tests will create new job opportunities:- half the current team of testers will have to be replaced due to "early retirement", mass burial is very likely to follow. [:(]

My first failure mistake will be stop over stop line. Normally I cannot see I'll stop after the line to see. I find it quite stupid to stop before the stop line then inch forward. For fu*k? Just go to the point you think is ok and not causing inconvenience for others will be ok what.

Many drivers who bring along their 'bad habits' after obtaining their 1st driving licence will inadvertently fail for the following reasons:

1) overconfident

2) missed using the signal lights

3) failing to stop completely before a stop sign, check left, right before proceeding

4) failure to check or improper checking of blind spot (this is one common mistake which adds on to the demerit points)

5) ignoring speed limit

6) improper stopping procedure i.e., failure to put gear in neutral / parking / pull hand brake

7) having only a single hand on the steering wheel while waiting to proceed

etc.. etc...

Had gone through this route moons ago and can confirm that the retest was virtually faultless to the extent the tester asked why I had to go for a retest. [lipsrsealed]

Hence, the repentance. [angel]

Have a nice weekend!
