Ever wonder if it's worth spending 80% of the effort for the additional 20% gain (peace and serenity etc)? Perhaps if they are left alone and nobody bothers to response (to nonsense and what-have-you), things will too work out.

maybe have a list and update it, let everyone knows who are trolls etc and not respond to their posts/threads. Natural death sounds good in getting rid of unwanted stuff. Avoid use of sledgehammer to kill insects though it may feel good.

I would rather the mods spend more time on the positives to encourage the technical folks to stay and contribute. It appears that most of those who can contribute has gone away or is keeping silent now.
