Ever wonder if it's worth spending 80% of the effort for the additional 20% gain (peace and serenity etc)? Perhaps if they are left alone and nobody bothers to response (to nonsense and what-have-you), things will too work out.

Yes, we tried that but they encroach other areas...just like kukurachas

but it evens out, as during the holidays, yes, we then see the full effect of Pareto.... that brings the moving average UP

The problem is the difficulty and additional time required to browse through when threads are constantly bombarded with rubbish. Hence, imo, it's still worth the effort at the expense of the policemen personal time which I believe can be appreciated by many who prefer this forum over others.

Unfortunately, some can be fairly insensible most of the time. Fortunately most are often sensible contributors and/or participants of this forum otherwise, many with the right attitude towards this forum may be compelled to go away.

...although I think the pareto principle is used incorrectly here. If anything, it's about a few bad apples causing a majority of the mayhem. So I think that while the effort to track these few is high, it actually also as high returns
