You think those TPs on the road can remember every traffic act like drunk driving, handphone driving, reckless driving, speeding, etc.

They are not exactly the most intelligent people ard. The intelligent people are those sitting in TP building directing them what to do.

I must be too old.... In the days when TP HQ was at maxwell road , there did not exist things like Bluetooth , Facebook , twitter and mycarforum... GASP! Really I promise you.

And back then , the car radio got one hole for something called a cassette tape...

It's similar to not every driver can remember what those markings on the roads refer to after passing their basic theory test.

All of the 3 must be fulfilled? So if one is playing Angry Birds while driving, they satisfy (a) and (b). But not communicating with any person.

Logically, I understand it as when the car is in motion, both your eyes must be on the road. If you take your eyes off the road to look at your handphone for whatever reason, it is an offence.

This one si bei sak... play angry bird while driving... will the driver end up sliding into the right lane or divider??? [laugh]

The purpose of setting the three conditions is to ensure that drivers who have no intention to commit handphone driving will not be caught by ambiguous rules. For example, a driver who simply holds a mobile phone but is not using it to communicate while driving will not have committed an offence of handphone driving . However , if by doing so, the driver loses attention on the roads and fails to maintain proper control of his vehicle, he will still have committed an offence of driving without due care or reasonable consideration.

Then like that hor, if vehicle is moving and i am holding my gf hand (or some other body part) with one hand and toking to her - i fulfill all 3 criteria to be considered as distracted while driving....

Use Ipad while driving legal or not? From a public's point of view, illegal and dangerous cause its the same as a handphone, but from a law point of view?

Recently I was texting at traffic light junction. After putting down the phone I looked up and besides my car was a mobile squat looking into my car. I looked at him as though nothing wrong. We drove off when light turned green.
