2009k Neutral Newbie March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 4 months jail for a life. Wonder if this is fast becoming a good avenue for people to kill off others they do not fancy. Afterall, they get someone behind the wheels and kill off the guy/girl, maximum sentence is 2 years. (I sent in letter to Minlaw asking them about how equitable is this, vs theft which can yield a higher sentence of 7 years, and get a typical reply...) Singapore can become a nice playground for people to finish off others on the road... hahahahaha... ↡ Advertisement

TVT Supercharged March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 (edited) apparently, the bf has yet to be charged. weird... Will the insurance pay for the damages as the driver is not licenced? I think not right? The b/f will propably be charged separately... but based on how his g/f is charged, I think don't expect him to get a heavy sentence either. Something to note, if u loan yr car to yr friend, it is your responsibility to check if he/she have a valid licence. unless he say he totally knocked out and the gf took the key without him knowing. than he will escape penalty, which i think most probably just a fine
Fcw75 Hypersonic March 30, 2012 Share March 30, 2012 make her to 'community' work in geylang? there got lonely old citizens who need companion.... Yah, open her legs to earn money. Then give the money to the family of the person she killed. Chinatown also can.
