LoverofCar 6th Gear March 27, 2012 Share March 27, 2012 Train is still the best form of transport as it goes right into the city ..
Jtay 1st Gear March 27, 2012 Share March 27, 2012 Train is still the best form of transport as it goes right into the city .. Yup, i think train is the best. The train stations are also a lot more accessible than airports, since the stations can be right in the city itself

The train stations are also a lot more accessible than airports, since the stations can be right in the city itself when I travel in Europe. I always pick a hotel that is near to the train station which is usually in the city.....it save a lot of time and I don't have to travel to the airport....It make alot of sense to do that... LoverofCar 6th Gear March 27, 2012 Share March 27, 2012 (edited) train stations are also where crime rates are high In Europe..most cities are crime bed....even my italian friend told me he was targeted in Milan.....so is all about being in the wrong place and at the wrong timing........just have to practise SA....situation awareness....... 1) keep money and important document using chest sling bag...ke 2) travel in the day..... 3) avoid backlane.... 4) keep a lookout of stranger stare....... 5) wear no jewellery 6) keep money out of sight. 7) never leave thing unattended. 8) sense that you been followed.....move into the crowd and walk faster... and etc Edited March 27, 2012 by LoverofCar
Jtay 1st Gear March 27, 2012 Share March 27, 2012 train stations are also where crime rates are high Well, just have to keep alert, and take the necessary precautions esp against pick-pocketers which are probably the most common in these countries

Thanks for all your replies. I'm wondering whether to travel by Easyjet, Eurostar or Eurorail? But for rails, wouldn't you waste time on travellnig, because the train needs to stop at the various cities. http://www.eurorailways.com/?gclid=CM212eX...CFQ8b6wodDxoD9w
Dirtbike Clutched March 27, 2012 Share March 27, 2012 delete why not u plan ur itinerary first? That will be easier to decide.... if its not neighbouring countries, train isnt really feasible... but if its like London-Paris....dan obviously train will be top choice...
