Turbocharged

Due to the congested roads and small country size, I feel that quite a large number of Singapore driver's skill are not very good.

Some of the common things notice that would irritate me are:

- The lack of awareness of their surroundings.

- Inflexible followers of the speed limit in lane 1

- Bad judgment of the speed of surrounding Vehicles.

The effects of these are self-explanatory....

Seems like Singaporeans drive like the way they walk on the streets, in shopping malls and in offcie buildings.

So, it is not our driving that sucks. It is just the way we are.

I believe the hard truth is, driving is not among simplest skill to master, if we want to sustain totally accident-free.

Of course some may be near prefect accident-prone [sweatdrop][shakehead]

Most accidents are cause by people that drive recklessly or carelessly, then lack of skills. Singapore roads are so wide & clear what to do at every junctions, expressway speed limit so low, & all roads are well lited at night, there is not much reasons outside of the 2 points I mention that lead to an accident.

Ever heard some people said wait till accident then decide what is right or wrong. Really learn through mistakes? [sweatdrop][shakehead]
