Do you ignore lane discipline when driving?

those filter lane from 2 to 1, once i see the lane isnt much for another car to squeeze in, i quickly block them and occupy centre so no bugger will force his way through. these r the buggers who die die force through the gap and speed and may cause accident for ppl like us.

i believe in one car from left then one car from right...

if i m on left and the car on the right is in front, i will back down and keep towards the centre... so that id10ts on the right cannot squeeze..

those who squeeze dun understand how many brakelights light up just becos of one selfish thot

I agree, very recently I saw a Cefiro eating lane 2 and kenna swipe by a blue Koup.

:D

Bro Jamesc,

I believe this Koup vs Cefiro video clip caused you much phobia, kindly be reminded to take your medications on time, must relax comfortably in your 7 stars resort and let it be bygones.

By the way, how is mine and Bro Camrytron waiting list status ? Are they still fully booked with their regular stayers ? ^_^

Thank you bro Fongmy,

the engineers, I think they are engineers, all were white lab coats one

are also saying I must relax and not get too excited.

How not to get excited when all the ladies here wear short white dresses and keep bending down,

they also wear nice little white hats.

Yours and bro Camrytron invitations are ready! Just come over when you both free.

ECP is challenging, if car drivers think it is narrow then i duno what to say about the trucks and buses, they seem to be able to speed at 90km/h where most cars seem to siam [rolleyes]

truck/bus vs median divider, truck/bus wins

car vs median divider, divider wins.

I stick to my lane no matter what speed I am traveling but its uncomfortable esp for back passengers. So if got people in the car, I will really slow down for them, else I really relish driving on narrow lanes and windy roads. But its eating up my tyres fast.

Lornie road is quite challenging, if there is no cars by all means do what ever you wan, but during busy hours it's frustrating to see drivers jiak here and there.

That's the only road that I drive offensive else always get stuck behind because of jiakers.

Of late, I noticed many drivers tend to encroach into another lane especially when they drive at a bend. If you happen to drive along Lornie Road towards Adam Road, ECP along Benjamin Sheares Bridge etc., you will likely to notice that drivers on the 1st lane tend to 'jiak' the 2nd lane because of the centre divider.

When a driver is not in the habit of sticking to his own lane, this habit will be brought along even on a straight road. As such, I have regularly seen drivers driving between lanes even on a straight road.

Driving into another lane often happens when one is driving fast and is not able to control the vehicle to stick to its lane.

Therefore, the next time you drive, check out how many times and over what distance you encroach into another lane because many may not even be conscious of such driving habit.

Have a nice day and drive safe! [wave]

I like to believe we are better drivers than that. Unfortunately it seems to be gaining popularity recently, and I tooted horn at these drivers, too (they on handphones). [laugh]

some lanes are really too narrow

I believe some drivers need refresher driving lessons badly, instead. Example: if 3-metre width low-loaders can use 3.5-metre lane, what is there to complain? [laugh]

lornie road one is the skill and gut. like some of my overseas friends told me once. singaporean driver skill is lacking here and there.

Along Guillemard Road, most car drivers at 50km/H need to tap brakes when the road bends [laugh][shakehead]

Yes. I have seen some too. I think some may be caused by lack of driving competency. This lack of lane discipline may happen even to slow drivers too except that slow drivers drive in such manner due inexperience, lack of competency or have some form of phobia.

However, for experienced drivers, it is often because of driving fast which resulted in having the problem of sticking to their lanes.

Anyway, it's good to be conscious of the way we drive which is sometimes overlooked.

I believe real expereinced drivers are those who have no issue at all. [laugh]

I understand if drivers "eat" into your lanes on bends. What gets to me are drivers who do that on straight roads as well. I encountered 2 nights ago who driving ever so slowly on a straight lane and was veering off the lane constantly. And I was passing through, he was like veering close to me n all this while, he was not looking ahead but at the buildings on his left and talking with his companion!

some cars are just too wide for that small portion of benjamin shears to keep in lane.

but once they go past that small bend, its ok already.

Can share with us which car wider than 3-metre width low-loaders? [laugh]

I think it is best for such drivers to stick to lane 2 or lane 3 since they cannot stick to their own lane and is unable to overtake without encroaching into another's lane. If you notice, such drivers are unlikely to overtake if they think the lane is too narrow for them to past the vehicle they intend to overtake although they have the whole lane. Often, the speed they travel are much lower than allowed speed which resulted in a trail of vehicles following behind.

I believe such drivers should attend refresher driving lessons instead
