Salmon 1st Gear March 15, 2012 Share March 15, 2012 Was affected by this disruption today. Noticed the stark difference between the 2 companies. From Sengkang station, hardly any announcement/notice (throughout my journey - NONE!). Only message in red on the screen but could hardly see the words as the fonts are too small! Once I stepped onto the circle line (SMRT), first thing to greet me is the announcement, followed by sign boards. On the EW line, more announcements and signboards saying the NEL partially down even onboard the train. Think SMRT have learnt their lesson!

I-LOVE-CARS 1st Gear March 15, 2012 Share March 15, 2012 Latest Update: Mr Lui is at Dhoby Ghaut station to assess the situation. He said that he had taken the North South Line to Dhoby Ghaut station and there were announcements made informing commuters of the disruption on the North East Line. Compare to: From Sengkang station, hardly any announcement/notice (throughout my journey - NONE!). Only message in red on the screen but could hardly see the words as the fonts are too small! So which is which? ↡ Advertisement
