so now .... is TS actually same person as "TS brother" ?

If they are the same person, then he has gotten the car not long ago(Base on his Jan Thread).

Hmmm why would a youngster buy a Sonata? His dad force him to buy sonata cos safer? Or his dad brought the car for him. [confused] LOL

So TS being young and try to play punk on the road and got when he deserve?

TS don't even seems worried abt the cost of repairing the car, Which base on the seriousness of the accident should cost around 5-15k to repair.

So much speculation, Can TS come clear the air himself :D :D :D

One more thing.. y his passenger nvr ask him to slow down & ask him to keep in lane?

since he can see the koup coming fast & near on his left ..

still can get down from the car like nothing happen..dump passgenger cum dumper driver..

There is no passenger. Only got the driver himself who came out and walked over to the passenger side after he crashed.

I think your bro and the driver of Koup will be in deep s--t! The video clearly shows evidences both of them are racing illegally on public road which is sure a "gantong" licence cases! Submitting this video to TP is like slapping his own face. Since its illegal racing, if prosecuted, your bro car won't be cover by insurance also.. Lose lose situaltion!!! [shakehead]

Hi people.

My brother's car was involved with a hit and run accident with this particular Koup driver. Sjz6264k.

After he banged my brother, he just drove off.

We are posting on the forum, hoping someone might know this guy.

We've uploaded the video onto youtube, below is the link on the accident, (Thank God my brother installed the in-car cam recorder.)

So now, if the driver is reading this, please kindly step forward, pte msg me, or report to traffic police yourself. Or you could just wait for them to come knocking on your door.

BTW, the bottom right of the video which shows the date & time is not accurate. As my brother did not set the date & time on the cam recorder.

Accident took place on 11th March, between 3 - 4am. Along CTE heading to SLE.

5-15k? i thot car will be write off liao

Haha maybe sonata got a strong frame so never damage the engine. so can buy front half cut and repair back. Then air bag abt 4k plus for both. and po heng suai his rear never kanna lo. but base on the video his car ended with rear facing the barrier. most slightly another 2k to repair the rear. added up abt 13-15k repair using half cut and 2nd parts. =D

Not sure whats the omv for that vehicle. if too low mean sure write off lol.

highly suspected [sly]

If TS is indeed the driver in the video, then it is very silly of him to do that since he is married with a baby and have just gotten a flat last year.

I am wondering what was the reason for both the TS bro and the kia koup to get worked up so much.

Ok for the koup its the TS bro spraying the windshield fluid?

What about for the TS bro? Apart from the kia koup in the right most lane, I did not see anything else (not that I support hogging). At that time of the day the roads are all empty so whats the big deal in undertaking the koup if he wanted to go faster?

Anyone? Please correct me if am wrong!

TS has been scared off from making another post, so we're left to our guessing game. But having watched the video carefully, I stand firm on my opinion that the Kia Koup is the bigger muddafarker here. Study the timestamp. From the time TS' bro is just ahead of the Kia to when he moves over into the right lane, a full 12 seconds elapses! Judging by the relative speeds, I'd say the undertaking car has at least +10 km/hr on the Kia, which means *IF* the Kia had been guai guai keeping to a steady hogging speed on the right during the manoeuvre, the undertaking car should have been more than 30m ahead of the Kia. Thirty metres - that's a huge distance. Even a piss-poorly adjusted wiper spray can't bridge a 30m chasm.

Of course, the water *would* have hit the Kia if he had been accelerating to try to get alongside the undertaker and had ended up just behind the undertaking car.

This means there are only two possibilities:

1) the Kia was guai guai keeping a steady speed to begin with and the undertaker (haha) was just spraying innocently because there's no way in hell that the spray could've hit the Kia given those relative speeds. With this scenario, the Kia driver is unprovoked, so what he did later - to accelerate to try to undertake TS' bro - is even more wrong.

2) the Kia was playing typical road hero by trying to block the undertaker by accelerating. Naturally, the water would've hit the Kia in this instance. No matter how childish it is of TS' bro to have sprayed the water (knowing it would hit the Kia), you can't deny that the Kia started this by trying to accelerate aggressively during TS' bro's undertaking manoeuvre.

So, my read on it is that the Kia is still the far bigger a------e - a roadhogger who doesn't move over when he has ample opportunity, and has a fragile ego that can't take a little undertaking, and has to prove it by causing an accident. Richly deserving of an RPG to the bollocks.

We all hate hoggers, but the one thing we should hate more than hoggers is the crazy egotistical type that likes to speed up to block anyone desperately trying to undertake them from the left. The Kia Koup is this special kind of a------e.

look at the video at 42 seconds interval. something must have happened when the TS' bro overtook the kia. he slowed down at that point. without sound, we can only guess that might be some kind of agruing...

Can't see - video removed oreddy - I think TS scared scared. [laugh] But if you're right, then there is provocation. I thought TS' bro had been fairly steady in accelerating, but if he slowed down to show finger, etc. then he should've expected consequences.

TS, given your bro still live to tell this tale, he should count his blessings and take whatever punishment he might get from TP, and most importantly, seriously reflect on his behaviour on the road.

Same for the koup driver.
