Travelled along West Cost Rd toward West Cast Mall this morning & suddenly this Vios seen travelled from West Coast Walk intentionally (With "Y" junction & white continuous line & arrow in placed -had checked & confirmed).

Drove by an male Indian looks like new PR or Foreign Talent (FT) with "P" plates on windscreens as if he though can short cut for heading towards West Coast Highway towards ECP via opposite direction (He though he is in India can drove in such manner)

West Coast Plaza (old Ginza Plaza) - next to Clementi Woods Park. Except that I do not understand much from TS's explanation [laugh]

don't understand how this kind of people pass their tp. unless you tell me she is from a country that practise right hand traffic flow.

I think one of the most dangerous places to drive is the shell station at tiong bahru.

Either people don't stop at the y junction or people drive the wrong direction once exiting from shell.

just be careful of some unique carparks e.g. Sim Lim Square that defies the usual left hand traffic convention.

I think you have taken the trouble to warn us of possibility of meeting this particular car & driver who drives in the wrong direction.

But perhaps it will help understand better if you would tell us clearly where (and also at what time in the morning) this happened. Were you driving on West Coast Road from direction of West Coast Drive towards West Coast Plaza? And the Vios was turning right out of West Coast Walk into the carriageway you were on instead on the carriageway going in the direction of West Coast Drive / Pandan Circus (at junction of West Coast Road and West Coast Highway)? That he was somehow was driving like he was in USA??

There are several roads with unusual "right-side driving" convention, such as Raffles Link (where it meets Raffles Avenue) and special lane at Grange Road (from Somerset Road towards Orchard Road (next to Orchard Building).

Those not familiar with them should drive with care.
