CKP 3rd Gear March 11, 2012 Share March 11, 2012 (edited) Taking on large private debts is one form of taxation: we are taxed "in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our calling and our creeds... [we will] have no time to think, no means of calling our miss-managers to account but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers." Vulcann 6th Gear March 11, 2012 Author Share March 11, 2012 (edited) only about 50 per cent of Singaporeans pay taxes. Then GST is wad? Technically this ex-SC is right. When my child go see a doctor, eat out or buy stuff, he or she is not burdened by any tax i.e. GST. In fact they are not coming out with a single cent at all. It's their poor old man who is paying for everything... [:(] Edited March 11, 2012 by Vulcann
