Is It Compulsary to Install ERP IU unit in car?

i thought as long as you dont go through ERP will be fine? parking use cashcard lo. I used to own a bike and come across some bikes without IU. So i am asking if car is compulsary.

If no UI, how on earth will they able to detect if you DO pass the ERP? That's the whole idea.... you PAY if you pass ERP, you don't pay if you don't.... Just say you will not ah gong will trust you meh? [hur]

If IU not installed and past the ERP gantry confirm will get caught la. there are cameras to track. What i mean is if i dont need it at all since i dont go places with ERP than can i dont install it.

No car is registered without IU, then how can you not install it? You mean you would remove that?

M'sian vehicles do not have the ERP IU unit..but the ERP gantries are able to detect its a foreign vehicle and charges the driver $5/day for unlimited entry..it might even be cheaper for truly asian drivers since they can go in the ERP zones unlimited times

it's easy to disable the IU, just cut the wire.....

Din know each ERP gantry got camera one.... Even so, if you travel at high speed, camera can capture meh....

don think is compulsory cause I know some bike they do not fit and leave it at home. But cars will have lots of problem let going thru gantry, car park etc. For bike only gantry problem not for parking
