Would you buy an 'ugly' car?

IMO the old Honda city is really ugly. Especially those that modded with those huge front and rear bumpers to make them look lower. But I guess it has to be ugly to be practical. Used it for my driving lessons and the interior is quite spacious.

You are shopping around for a car. There is this particular model that suits your budget and needs. Specifications are exactly what you wanted. Only problem is that you don't like the exterior design. It is either too plain or ugly. Would you buy?

 

For me, it's the Skoda Superb. The car ticks all the right boxes. Full specs, good size, good engine and priced sensibly. But in my opinion, inconceivably ugly. So what would you do?

lol precisely... i dun think it is a pretty sight...

but i bought it cos it fits my basic needs... well within my budget...

 

i dun even hv to think whether i will be able to pay as the monthly installments are quite similar to what i paid for my previous car

If the particular model ticks all the right boxes AND looks good, the price would not have been that sensible anymore....think about it.

imo there's no ugly car, there is only cars that look good on the first day and cars with looks that will grow on you.

 

look at Subarus, most of the imprezas look 'ugly' when they they are launched. eg...the bug eye, and the current one. when it was launched, everybody also kpkb that it's ugly...
