Hi guys,

Need you advice, just ran over a kerb earlier on, realised that the metal portion has been scraped and dented slightly. Can anyone advise me if.

1. Should I get it repaired?

2. How much will it cost?

3. Will it affect my car in terms of performance?

4. Will it affect my car in terms of re-sale value?

Thanks in advance for all the advices!

Sell to a tall/fat dealer who find it hard to bend down

at a shop where they dun have the car lifting jack.

I like that idea!!! But guess, it should be too much of a concern right?

That is the place where you place the jack. It is supposed to be rugged!

Use a flat plier (Not long nose plier) and straighten it & do some paint touch-up to prevent corrosion.

If you go for service / tire changes, some workshop will placed their jack over this area & will also dent it again.

So, pls tell them to lift the whole car than just lifting at this point.

Neutral Newbie

Hi 5th Gear, sorry im new here and because of that, Im not allowed to create a new post and have to tag on yours to broadcast.

I would really appreciate all bros help if possible.

This morning about 8am along KJE (Towards PIE Tuas) before CCK Road, the 1st & 2nd lane was jammed and everyone was driving slowly. My car was in the 1st lane moving slowly with the queue. There's this heavily modified yellow coloured car with matt bonnet & boot (suspect to be a Ex Lancer, sorry i really sux at car, i just owned a simple vios to drive my family around) was impatient trying to squeeze between me and the car on my left (which is on 2nd lane) which was then moving slowly to the 3rd lane. As a result, he scratched my car and ripped my left side mirror.

It's a norm to go to the left shoulder of the expressway to talk and settle the issue. However, this driver sped off going knowing he is a fault. I tried to give chase but unfortunately unable to do so as my left side mirror was gone and I had difficulties to filter left. I have already logged this hit & run accident to the police and if any bros witness this accident, can you pls pls email me, i need your help....
