Cos reading e earlier posts, u were rather worried abt e conclusion and at one point "mentally" prepared for some fines/demerit points to b thrown at u....whilst u can only pray.

 

Guess e van driver probably went thru similar roller coaster ride during the unknw period....again, nt saying u lied or watever. In fact, my response upon learning that no action will be take against u was genuinely one of relief becos no further stress and matter can hv closure.

 

Nt related to van driver or party to his side of story, hence, bro Kungfu, let karma deal with him and u allow matter to close? Seemingly unfair but frm e van driver's point of view, u cld be totally at fault for watsoever reason(s).

 

Remember buy ref no of TP's letter (4D) to say u free of any further action....dun b greedy, enuff to buy a new bike hor....haha.... ok, or maybe a new lambo?

the result is out but accordingly TP will not take any action against both party, but i felt very unfair to me............like no action towards the van driver as well, can i

 

- question TP why no actions towards the van driver?

 

what further recourse as far as the authorities is concerned do i have?

 

It's almost impossible to charge against the van driver (or you) as I'm sure both gave their own sides of the story. Of course, unless there are obvious violations of traffic laws or the whole incident is captured on camera, then it will be totally another story. Even eye witnesses are not a strong case due to biaseness except clear cut cases.

 

Just forget about it and thank God that you are fine. Unless you have any other strong evidence, please don't waste your time. The result would be the same.

Honestly this report is not in ur favor, especially the sketch

 

If i interpret this properly, the car behind u flash his lights, so u move forward and went alongside the right of the van. The van turn right and u hit the side of the van.

 

Vans like most commercial vehicles their rear is a giant blind spot, especially when they are fully loaded, rendering their rear mirror useless. This is why i am always extra careful when overtaking them

 

From the van's POV, as he is about to make the right turn, ur motorcycle comes into his right side mirror view. Honestly if he was already making the turn he won't have much time to react to ur sudden appearance. If you had been on the right side of the lane all this while then he would have seen you coming and made the turn while keeping ur bike in view to avoid hitting you
