Neutral Newbie

any mored feedback from existing owners?

Sold my A6 a while bk. it was a pretty gd car... Only issues I had was that it's a tat heavy and it made me look like I was the "driver". Car built like a tank! solid for cruising, 2hrs to KL dun even feel tired. Fc was decent ard 9-10km/L. Silky smooth acceleration...

Give it a test drive on highway. U will know what I mean.

The multitronic (mu) CVT gearbox is likely to fail within 10 years, depending on how the car is driven in its initial years, conscientious gearbox oil replacement/top-ups.

A brand new gearbox replacement is $20K+.

Refurbished ones cost half the price (>$10K), but still not insignificant,

Many Audi 'mu' owners (ref: vagsg.com forum) have replaced theirs with refurbished gearboxes, before dumping their cars in the resale market!

9.5yr old A6 2.0T owner here on 168,000km

Minor issue:

Top up of engine oil regularly (2-2.5L every 3mths)...

Recently Aircon not as cold, wear n tear...

Car runs well, smooth & torquey pickup...no gearbox / engine prob till date...

Considering getting a new A6 aft my COE expires... ;-)
