Scb11980 1st Gear March 5, 2012 Share March 5, 2012 What habits do men and women hate in the opposite sex? 5 March 2012 Lianhe Wanbao Lianhe Wanbao carried out a survey to find out what kind of behaviour local men and women disliked most in the opposite sex. The survey, according to the paper, was carried out on Thursday afternoon (1 Mar) on radio FM100.3. It follows a similar survey by a Japanese website on the kinds of female behaviour that put off Japanese "salary-men", as the office workers are known. The Lianhe Wanbao survey found that women dislike: 1. Men without drive and ambition. One woman gave an example of a friend, a 37-year-old man, who lies around at home doing nothing all day. She said the man won't look for a job, and asks for handouts from his siblings and mother. But even when the man tried to work, he often got fired quickly because he was poor at every job. 2. Men who are gossipy and stingy, such as those who fight for seats with women in the MRT. 3. Filthy and ungroomed men, or those who look too square, with glossy gelled hair, and a comb sticking out of their back pockets. 4. Men who get touchy feely with their female friends or try to take advantage of the girls around them. Or men who engage in public displays of affection with their girlfriends. 5. Men who like to shake their legs when sitting down, and those who pick their teeth with toothpicks while making sucking sounds. The survey found that the men dislike: 1. Women who are constantly wary of men and think that all men are perverts. According to the men, some women will dress in a revealing manner, then glare accusingly at the men while constantly trying to cover themselves up. Other men say that some women will look very wary when they visit the toilet alone. These women, constantly looking left and right in suspicion, make it seem like all the men around them are perverts. 2. Women who are self-centred and have no regard for others. Men say some women will carry large handbags around, bump into people, but won't apologise. The men also want to say to the women, "If you want sexual equality, don't expect men to take on extra burdens for you." 3. Women who "act cute", and those who constantly fling their long hair over their shoulders and throwing seductive looks at the men. 4. Women who don't know how to dress appropriately. The men complain that some women don't have curvaceous figures, yet don revealing tops. Some women also like to wear tight clothes, seemingly oblivious of their folds of fat, or "spare tyres" hanging out. Worse are those who don't shave under their armpits yet wear sleeveless tops out. 5.Women who wear slippers out and make annoying dragging noises when they walk. ↡ Advertisement
