Trafficwatch Clutched March 3, 2012 Share March 3, 2012 10 ft lorry the cabin height was around 2.0 meter. If enter basement / MSCP carparks of HDB just nice but not condo & shopping Centre carpark (Condo / shopping centre usually 1.8 to 1.9 meter) Payload for 10 ft was 1.5 ton for G-Plates & Y-Plate 1.8 to 2 tons. Trafficwatch Clutched March 3, 2012 Share March 3, 2012 (edited) 10 ft truck (i used to drive my company trucks of 10 & 14 ft), best to consider:- - Toyota Dyna (G-plates : 1.5 ton & Y-plate 2 tons payload) -- choice 2 (parts slight more expensive than Cabstar but still reasonable but used truck engine noise little higher than Cabstar - Nissan Cabstar (G-plates: 1.5 tons & Y-plates 1.8 tons) - choice 1 (cheap spare parts & quieter engine nosies than Dyna) - Mitsubishi Canter wise 14 ft better but not 10 ft - Isuzu NPR: not advise-able as engine noises quite rough & parts quite expensive 10 ft Y-Plates personnel name can purchase no need company registration. Goods height limit: advise-able not exceed 2.5 metre from ground (road) and make sure full secure with ropes or belts with shrinking wrapping of pallet (s). Fcw75 Hypersonic March 3, 2012 Share March 3, 2012 (edited) 1.7m on top of the deck should be no problem but please secure it properly. I always carry about 1.8m of goods. Use the ratchet tie down, I used 2 when carrying tall stuff. Edited March 3, 2012 by Fcw75

Fcw75 Hypersonic March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 (edited) The legal height limit for a 10ft lorry will never be 4.5m. It's simply too high. The puny lorry will sway left and right like a boat when on the road. Edited March 4, 2012 by Fcw75
Trafficwatch Clutched March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 (edited) You're wrong ! That only applied to 24 ft truck / primer mover or trailers and NOT for 10 ft nor 14 ft truck ! Basically it shall not exceed 30% of lorry bed to cabin height as per announcement made by LTA 1 yr to 2 ago. Passion 5th Gear March 4, 2012 Share March 4, 2012 Want to have confirm answer, go ask those who make metal shelter for trucks. If I'm not wrong, from truck bed upwards abt 2metre. Even for 1 to stand up straight in the bed.
