Turbocharged

I never heard of such petty petrol theft in SG before. Its shocking, but thanks for alerting us. [thumbsup]

Usually when the uncle start his pump, I'll stand beside and only leave after he finished, withdraw the gun, and close up my petrol cap. Then I locked my car and walk to cashier to pay.

same here.. apparently the safeguard is badly lacking. (likely, they don't bother, cos the poor uncles will have to compensate for the theft, no loss to the company [thumbsdown] )

i'll stand and wait till it finishes before going in to pay [:|]

one uncle in-charged of a few pumps each, or they all share the loss?

All on that shift tio. Not restricted to bikes, merc, etc.. also pinch fuel and leave without paying.

Even with CCTV, all they can do is file a police report, the uncles still have to fork out.

Yeah. So there is still a risk that when we walk off to pay, some bikers comes in suddenly and used the same pump and quickly top-up. The attendant who pumped petrol for us probably is at the next pump so he wouldn't even know.

So we need to be observant while we are inside queue for cashier (always lookout towards the pump).

Too bad we cannot do this to siam our ERP.

If not, everyone will be super tailgating on the road

I don't see it as kindness, more of helping people who are not as fortunate as myself.

Been there before and know how it feels.

Kindness is not inherent in everyone. Often, one who is kind never realised their kindness. Anyway, kudos to you for the little things you do which make others happy! [thumbsup]

Have a great week ahead! [wave]

my friend's boss got 3 cars, 1 lambo, 1 R8 and 1 RS4.

In their company carpark (JTC building), he only buy season parking for his RS4, so when he drives his the other two cars to work, he will always ask wht time his sales ppl go out. So he can follow closely to avoid ERP carpark... lol [:p][laugh]:D

And for non confirm sales staff, he also don buy season parking for them.... and ask them to do the same

no wonder he can buy super cars

Ever hear the saying: ho gua bo ho chiak? :D

Today after pumped full tank of 98, while I was queuing at the cashier, I noticed a bike pulled up behind my car, took out the Vpower and put into his tank, and ride off after a while.

I didn't take notice cos I thought the pump will not activate until the bill is settled, so that guy could have left unsuccessfully in his attempt to fuel up.

Then.. the cashier asked me, u pump one time ah?

Wth.. of course I pump once. $120... then I realized that pump allowed a 2nd pump even before the first bill is settled.

At the pump, the meter showed 10 liters pumped instead of 55 liters from me.

Guys, was it a malfunction at the pumps or there is no such mechanism at all?

Lucky that bike was filling up Vpower and I filled 98.

I could be paying petrol for him if he used to same as me. [mad]

Careful guys.. keep a close watch of your cars..

I used to pump at the shell near compasspoint and i think it might not be the way u think it is.

After your pump session where u put back the pump into place, your session will be stopped and another vehicle can pump as a second vehicle. Look at the top part of the pump and you will see indicating lights seeing how many outstanding payment there are for that particular pump (I think 3 in total, green, red and blue light if i din remember wrongly).

Of course if the biker paid up eventually is an unknown. But you wont be paying for him unless you did not place the pump back properly.
