SimonTan 2nd Gear February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 Same as those Finnish buggies vehicle, can skim over water easily. This is just a matter moving fast in the forward direction, and using the forward momentum to run over the 15meters. If he can run over 50meters using the same plywood method, then we talk about real KungFu. Just like fire walking....many Tom dick Harry also can achieve the feat. ↡ Advertisement

Gearoil 1st Gear February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 I bet you the Ah Tiong can run on the water without even those pieces of ply wood if... A 5 metre salt water crocodile was chasing him from behind... The Ah Tiong will even loose his tight fitting shots in the process...
Vulcann 6th Gear February 29, 2012 Author Share February 29, 2012 I find the IAB not very stable, esp when the whole company of troops running across at the same time. If the alternative is river crossing via rope, carabiner & life-jacket to float across then I rather use the IAB anytime..

SimonTan 2nd Gear February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 The army plontoon is akin to the plywood. Do we know how big or thick the plywood are? If the plywood are thick, then it can support the uptrust of his body weight. It's all physics. I admit he is also very fit and agile and quick on his feet to achieve the 15m run. True I will not last even 5meters since I am not fit and well trained. But I have ran the army IAB before, so I can consider my KungFu skills help me to walk over water as well? if he can run over 50m, then you will say: if he can run over 100m using the same plywood method, then we talk about real kungfu how about you or any tom, dick and harry go and try and see if you can last 10m? Sosaria Twincharged February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 ... Just like fire walking....many Tom dick Harry also can achieve the feat. Just you try fire-walking first... As far as fire-walking is concerned, what I learned is that those people who attempt it without the proper preparation and rituals, e.g. vegetarian and abstain from this and that, ... they will get their feet burnt! Sure, they can walk or run across the pit, but later have to get the burns treated!
Vulcann 6th Gear February 29, 2012 Author Share February 29, 2012 At least you get to keep dry. But whenever i use the IAB, i feel like toppling over into the river! The trick is to simply follow what they say by stepping on the middle of each piece and quickly sprint across Any hesitation or misstep will either land you in the water or having to face irate trainers on the other side
