Wt_know Supersonic February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 you are right. conditional apology like saying "soli lor" .... happy now? i slapped you and subsequently apologised but i maintained my initiative to slap you was right. what is with this wave of self-inflated righteousness that a conditional apology is permissible? Is this society so ridden with superficiality to the extent that certain individuals believe they could get away with a slap on the wrist by making a wristful apology just for the sake of it. an apology which is hollow on all counts for crying out loud. Isn't the act of apologising an outward gesture of seeking forgiveness by extension? where is the element of self reflection and repentance which is so conspicuously absent? it is apparent in my opinion that such individuals are morally bankrupt. ↡ Advertisement
Piyopico Supercharged February 29, 2012 Share February 29, 2012 "This added to the furore, even after Mr Baey subsequently explained on his Facebook - saying he did not agree with Sun's comment, but that he felt Singaporeans could be more open to criticism." Aiya, give him the benefit of the doubt la. I suppose now they realize what's the REAL sentiment on the ground that caused them to almost fall below 60%. I guess that also means some of them have LOST TOUCH with the ground. Good for the people I guess Wow nowadays they can float? Like the Shaolin kungfu monk that ran on plywood? Kids are impressed.
