VW Jetta sport Vs Mit Lancer 1.8 Turbo

Plan either buy used Jetta sport or Mit Lancer 1.8 Turbo.

Which is better?
I heard from VW forum, thousand of ppl complain abt DSG gearbox.
any advise?

lancer 1.8 cvt gearbox is use on auto evo n airtrek. very strong!

they say can tahan 400hp.

Agreed with the other Bro that as long as the 1.8T Lancer uses the same auto box as airtrek/ebo you are ok but keep hp within 350hp+-.

The DSG gearbox really highly unreliable.. my colleague bought a brand new Touran.. now abt 12k mileage n less than 1year old n car got intermittent jurking due to gearbox... how unrealiable can this brand be.. lol..

I cannot believe that DSG gear box is so lousy.

Must be VW owner thinks they are buying super smooth Lexus gearbox, and disappointed and small small jerks also complain like the world is ending.

Yup. I make a mistake. It not cvt.

EVO gta, airtrek , 1.8 tc lancer all using INVECS II 5 speed .

It the 1.8 NA touring lancer using the cvt INVECS III.

Cos it's one of the most affordable conti and has the 'low road tax and FC, and turbo' combi.
