Crack rims

i just found out i got 2 sport rims having crack on 1 spoke each per rim.

 

kindly advise of i should change the rim or repair it, where to repair.

 

im on 17 inch,

 

im not sure how it crack

Wah.. need to replace e entire rim.. next time dun buy replica rims... not safe..

Worst thing is TS dun even know how the cracks come about.. maybe never even go inside pot hole just normal driving caused it to cracked already? That's the worst rims ever..

Don't over-frighten pple can or not? Drive carefully at slow speeds for short distance until shops open Monday morning still ok. To play it safe, take our trusted SMRT trains.

I believe you may be aware that motor insurance policy does not cover mechanically unsound car. That would invalid his Driving Licence for driving without motor insurance coverage. If someone hit his car, he got to compensate the other party instead for not insurance coverage, and be penalised for traffic offences.

not sure but i got 10 spoke, 1 has hairline crack

Airbus also grounded by hairline cracks

Change all to steel rims.

Some steel rims are of thinner materail than others. Compare before changing

Can the insurance company prove that the lim-cracks happened before the accident and not caused by the accident? quite difficult sometimes?

It cannot be repaired, rim is now structurally unsound.

The spokes are thicken by manufacturer due to weak structural design.

No mention how to identify original from immitation? I have no idea if my 'MONO' rims are immitations.

If both crack, something is wrong. Not only change, you need to check if you are over ur rim size or your rubber too thin. Assuming your rim is of reasonable quality first

I would strongly recomend u to replace asap. Dented rims are repairable but not crack ones for safety issues. Hope this helps.

Second that. Cracks are not repairable Kerb rashes can.

 

You have 2 rims with cracks. It looks like production or design defects.

 

Please replace the whole set!

Looks bad. Good thing you spotted it. Are they stock? How much did you pay for them otherwise?

Please have it change soonest even to a non-branded rim. This is my little advise. Rims is as importatnt as tyres.
