Masterclass17 Neutral Newbie February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 Hi guys, Desperate liao, I purchased some stuff from US last month and the package was sent out by USPS but they missed out my unit number! The mailing address only reflected my block and postal code. I stay in a HDB by the way. Any bros have this experience and what are the options available for me to receive this package? thanks and much appreciated. ↡ Advertisement

A5ph Neutral Newbie February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 I guess depends how friendly you are to your postman, and how well your postman likes you. So far my postman help to "re-route" my packages to a relative in same block when I'm not in. Even though I never asked him to do so in the first place. Saves me a bunch of trouble from having to collect it back at the post office. Have you tried calling the shipping company for advice? Maybe if there's a tracking number something can be worked out. Dogbert1973 Clutched February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 (edited) If it is a letter/big envelope (unregistered), you have to pray and contact Singapore post and ask for help at undelievered mail section. First find out the post office hub for your area, and visit that post office and look for the duty manager If it is a parcel, very simple situation. All parcels have a serial number (even unregistered). Get this serial number from your shipper and call Singapore Post they can definitely find it for you. Yeobh 4th Gear February 24, 2012 Share February 24, 2012 (edited) Base on my online selling experience, your chance is nil if the mail don't have tracking no., the goods will be return back to the sender. If there is a tracking no, you can try to contact speedpost so that thier sorting centre staff can intercept the goods and place the goods on re-direct schedule. I ever received my oversea package with just my name and postal code on the package. If your other infos are in their system, they can check. To send it back to the sender is more troublesome for them, I guess. ↡ Advertisement
