13177 Hypersonic April 18, 2017 Share April 18, 2017 (edited) Now they say once new signaling system is up, it will solve the track fault.. Let's wait and see whether it is the case.. Skally new signaling system is up and there are still frequent track fault, they have nothing to blame on already.. Then how? Obviously and confirmed smrt doesnt know what they are doing la. First they say change sleeper can solved track fault, but now they say current signalling system caused track fault? Then how about train fault le? Have they found the root cause of it liao? There are a lot of documentaries that confirm this practice.

Mockngbrd Supersonic April 18, 2017 Share April 18, 2017 The suspicious white substance at Woodleigh MRT station was found by a cleaner, MP Melvin Yong, who is also executive secretary of the National Transport Workers' Union (NTWU) Cleaner can be mp ccb
Blueray Hypersonic April 18, 2017 Share April 18, 2017 Security measures indeed improved a lot.. I can only imagine if it happened a few years ago, proberly the cleaner would curse and swear and then go sweep the white powder away into dustbin. With such tighten security, don't know is it a good thing or bad thing. Good thing is that we know that no matter how small the item is and if deemed suspicious item, special force will be activated to ensure it is safely removed. But bad thing is that, it could cause a lot of unnecessary disruption or false alarm. With regards to this type of situation, I think its better to err on the side of caution. Do hope public awareness is raised through such incidents. Simple example, just look at the number of abandoned bicycles at bus stops and MRT stations, not too difficult to leave something inside and trigger off remotely at a later time or day. And we need to punish these irresponsible idiots for wasting time and resources on this type of stunts.

The suspicious white substance at Woodleigh MRT station was found by a cleaner, said MP Melvin Yong. Mr Yong, who is also executive secretary of the National Transport Workers' Union (NTWU), added that the cleaner "did a good job in identifying a potential threat, taking responsibility and raising the alert". Blueray Hypersonic April 19, 2017 Share April 19, 2017 Man arrested for causing alarm at MRT station A 69-year-old man who used flour to mark a trail for a running route was arrested for causing public alarm yesterday, when the substance was found at several spots in Woodleigh MRT station. The station was closed for around three hours, reopening at 4.20pm, after the authorities ensured the white powder was not dangerous. Two other men aged 53 and 70, are assisting with investigations. The Straits Times understands that the trio are part of the Seletar Hash House Harriers, a running club set up in 1980, with 82 members on its Facebook page. ..... http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/man-arrested-for-causing-alarm-at-mrt-station ↡ Advertisement
