13177 Hypersonic August 2, 2016 Share August 2, 2016 Antenna rosak should make the train stop, not run faster. Listen to all these monkeys tock cock. :XD:I am caught by surprise that got people believe in this logic. Even non-engineering people also know that the system is always designed to be on the conservative side should there be a failure. So, it should slow down and stop!!! NOT runaway!!! Whether people believe what smrt said or not, think they have already done their part in explaining what happened on the LRT incidence. Guess the case will be closed and nothing will be done again, and wait for the next incidence to happen. Lol. ↡ Advertisement
Albeniz Turbocharged August 2, 2016 Share August 2, 2016 (edited) No amount of engineering could prevent a train from not stopping, should it decide not to stop. Edited August 2, 2016 by Albeniz

Jayy25 6th Gear August 3, 2016 Share August 3, 2016 Amidst the different negative opinions since 2013 till now.... SMRT CEO changed from a marketing background to a military background despite it is an engineering/mechanical industry. Despite the numerous breakdowns, boos boos and 2 deaths under the watch of the Army boy general, nothing much was changed (if this is in Japan/Korea, CEO head probably break away from the neck from the umpteen bowing to the public in shame) You can see how this government "protect" their toy boy and you can be sure this SMRT seat is indeed an alloy of super strong metallic materials rice bowl.... Having said the above, we can talk and talk all the way till the moon turns blue and the Cow does its hari kari .... I think our dear govt folks cannot be bothered with our noise because.....
Vratenza Supersonic August 3, 2016 Share August 3, 2016 IMHO, why go spend billions on the upcoming KL-SIN HSR when the money could have easily let MOT take back all the existing rail network and rebuild from scratch?

Jayy25 6th Gear August 3, 2016 Share August 3, 2016 (edited) just read a news about the new Taipei Train airport system. this is not even breakdown but shortfall of their high standards and just because it is slower by 3km/h, they deem it as fail and refuse to kick start. The best part is the govt official bowed in shame and apologies... while over here.... cock and bull stories continues while waiting for the cow to hari kiri http://www.taipeitimes.com/News/taiwan/archives/2016/03/05/2003640869 Edited August 3, 2016 by Jayy25
