LTA shot it down

or

Hui Ge shot it down?

Whatever shot down by LTA, may not have been seen by Hui Ge.

I understand Hui Ge has a countdown clock for major breakdown. I believe he will try his best to ensure that the countdown clock is not reset.

Possible. But it's hard to imagine they didn't show Hui ge. Or Desmond didn't go and talk to Hui ge.

Supersonic

Maybe can t loan the 77 or 47 set antenna from SAF ... Desmond make one phone call ...

LRT is a driverless system, is it not ?

Which means there is no driver to control in case of emergency.

Which means the bloody comm system is very important and we have no antenna redundancy ?

MRT is a joke.

All commercial service providers knows redundancies is not an option.

Based on the recent National Arts Council's standard?

Antenna cost: $80

Workmanship: $800

Consultation fee: $8000

Total: $8880

Huat arh!

:D

That's per worker hor..... :a-aggressive:

This one Team effort : one holding the ladder, one climb up the ladder, one passing the antenna, one holding the spanner, one testing signal, one holding wireless lap-top and one supervisor. So 7 men x $800 = $5,600/-

:XD:  :XD:

Is she new citizen? It's well known since the beginning of mrt system that e-button inside the train is not for E-stop.

E-STOP for erecting press stop?

Confirmed messy since the breakdown is at Joo Koon side, whereby high volume of people are taking train there.

Joon kòon still better than city hall. Most of them probably thinking great mrt breakdown no need to quickly go back office. Try town area how many letters they will receive.

Soon people will organise tour to see singapore mrt break down. New national attraction.

Uni may use this as case study for PR 101. For the greater gd of man kind and GDP lets just sux it up.

That's the irony of Singapore.

In front of my estate, there is a gantry that works 5 days wk for 30mins everyday. It is to make sure that there is no leakage in collection of ERP.

On the other hand, no effort is spend to ensure that our MRT is running smoothly.

I believe you can do a better job than Desmond Quek at half of the price.

Maybe can suggest to smrt to let Wilson parking company to assume the smrt maintenance. Never break down (fail) to collect revenue. Haha

The system is build with population projection then (30 yrs ago). It was not wrong then.

So, population projection was tuned up. This information may not be passed down to LTA. Even pass down to LTA, nothing will be done as LTA will taichi to operator.

With the correct calibre of leadership, the fault might be identified and ratified as quickly as possible.

Currently, i have doubt in his leadership as nothing was done (from a layman perspective) since he came on board.

I like this one. Info never pass down to LTA. Hahaha they using pigeon I reckon.

Redundancy costs money ... Affects profitability ... Haha ... Maybe supplier told them won't spoil and they actually believed it ...

I took LRT many years back ... Think it's driverless ... Same like the ones they use at Changi airport.

Since there are so many problem nowadays, why not let our SMRT rest and not operate for 1 week or a month or a year to fix all the problems? Free buses service will provide for everyone... that will make everyone very happy...

Antenna broken, system shouldnt have went into failsafe mode?

I know my r/c heli, drone and boat, first thing to do is set failsafe mode. Lost of signal, model will go into failsafe mode. Drone will return to home. The others will just stop operating, engine/motor cut.

What kind of engineer design such system in SMRT? [hur]
