A FW cyclist was hit by a bike from behind but the judge said he wrong: "Failure to keep proper lookout for traffic behind" was the reason to convict him.

The biker hit the FW when the latter cut lane, biker fell and died later.... :o

It is sad to hear that a person's life was taken away abruptly by merely $6,000 and a 2 year driving ban

If you know how those FW cycle, I will said the biker is unlucky.

Personally had a few times near miss due to FW cyclist suddenly zoom cross the road when traffic signal is to my right. Manage to jam brake on time and luck no car behind me.

beware of FW cyclist especially when there is exit/entry lane

cyclist will cycle "straight" and bo chup there is car turn in/out

and yes, FW cyclist don't look back ... they just go straight own time own target

quite lost but I think....

FW change lane, biker hit FW...

Biker RIP???

Failure to have a lookout while changing lane....

The problem is, when they are travelling the same direction, they dont consider they are changing lane...

Only changing to opposite direction = changing lane...

This morning, i stopped before zebra crossing on my bicycle. a white color Honda Stream dashed across zebra crossing w/o slowdown or stopped. He/she was lucky that i don't have front facing camera.

You are right, cyclist whether they are FW or locals, they dont look out for traffic when they approach junction or any road opening.

I believe there is a difference between a driver and a motorcyclist.

Use ur car horn. I used it to shame PRC cyclist beating red pedestrian crossing light.

Frankly, if i were in this situation that requires a quick judgement call, rather than sweve out of cyclist's way and kill myself, i will just hit the cyclist.

Sometimes being noble is not of much use.

Main diff:- nos. Of wheels, power, size, etc but do these things make a good case for the different applications of traffic rules?! I quite blur....
