I'm a customer. Can I pay $1 for a $100 item because I'm always right?

Yes, provided you are also giving me other business that let me earn $10000 [:p]

But some may choose to attack you on the $100 and would not look at the $10000.

They will praise the one that earn the $100 and would not see the $10000 lost.

I believe the slide shown is just a small portion of the entire training course. All the other slides were not shown, and this may bias the actual meaning of the slide.

Perhap, the intention is for the NTUC staff to understand that "the Customer is not always right", but as frontline staff they have no choice but LLST, because the Customer is their "paymaster". Try their best to accomodate the customer, of course within certain guidelines.

This stomper feels that customer is always right and rebutt on NTUC fairprice on " Customer is not always right "

I will support on NTUC stand that customers is not always right.

What you guys think ??

the question:

why do most sgp sales staff / even bosses behave & show their 'black face' as if customers are there to give them troubles (even by merely making enquiries on prices etc) or are always wrong / a nuisance?

compared with jap or taiwan where sales staff greet the customer the moment he/she steps into the shop, our local sales persons pull long face the moment they see customers... or try to act as if customers are theives/trouble-makers... :o

I hope to be served by this stomper.

I hope he/she will side with the customers at all times.

sales staff who disagree with the stomper should change job and be a backroom storeman or whatever.... or be his own boss? :D

Knowing Singaporeans..some of them are simply unreasonable..I don't think businesses should extend their leeway to this group of people.

sinkie sales staff all along do not have the culture of servitude..nor are they grateful for the customers to walk in the retail shop although they should since the customer is their 'boss'..in their minds..they would rather have no customers to serve so they can laze around..not to further mention bad parents which teach nonsensical stuff like '东家不打打西家' to their offsprings

Customers are not always right and as a company, they also must protect their rights. as much as they try to accomodate even when customers can be unreasonable.

who is this stomper...so naive.

nowadays, whe you go to big establishments like the hospitals or departmental stores, you will see a friendly "warning" not to abuse the staff - its all about mutual respect and t&c.

I think its not meant to be taken literally nut the idea and service attitude we should all cultivate is that the customer is always right.

Thats the only way to improve
