Not the police effort lah.

It's the cheap broadband that makes file sharing easy!

Blame it on the broadband providers. They price it too cheap untill piracy go towards the net.

Piracy online is also getting the snip .. It's almost impossible to get pirated software esp Microsoft ones.. Try looking for office 2010 ... No way

Singapore broadband is cheap ? Sure or not ? Compare to what ? Malaysia ?

If compare to Malaysia, Singapore's broadband is cheaper. My Malaysian friends/relatives envy my low cost of broadband all the time.

But this is base on comparison with no currency differences.

Last time Pasar Malam is a favourite haunt for many..partially due to pirated cds.. The old days. ^_^:o

Queensway shopping center too....

and once in a while those temporary "friendly" shops hidden in the old neighbourhoods such as AMK and Clementi

Yes....the good old days....games with tons of CDs e.g. Final Fantasy with 12 CDs install until fell asleep.

Temp shops manned by tatooed teens and customers emerging with the standard issue black plastic bags.

CD key on a piece of paper or printed on the back of the CD cover. Subsequently found in a folder in the CD.

Some even give warranty - 3 days or till police raid, whichever comes first ^_^
