Outstanding Traffic Offence TP Webpage useless!!

I received a letter for beating the red light 4 days ago, 20 days after the offence was committed. I have been checking the traffic police website every day since the day I saw the flash. The website kept saying I have no outstanding offence. I happily thought the red light camera flash that day was a bogus one. Infact even today, the website is still saying I have no offence.

Just because the webpage says you have no offence, don't celebrate yet!! The webpage is totally crap!

The system is not like an ATM where a withdrawal is immediately updated into the account data.

So what if it the system is updated a few days late?

You will still get what you deserve.

Don't complain just because you want to get even.

Wah. Buy car only recently beat red light already.

Just my ar## luck, on my way to reunion dinner somemore! Have been driving for over 20 years, first time caught on camera. (but I not an angel lah, have received many HDB parking offences before)

I swore when I passed the line, it was still orange. The flash occured when I was almost crossing the line across the junction already. Initially I thought it was for another car. Anyway I will surely appeal.

After many years of driving.....first time kena caught.

The feeling is bitter sweet. You start to question, we're you lucky to avoided getting caught all these years. Or has your driving habits gone to the dogs lately?

Anyway.....many people buy TOTO....but never won before.......so a suddenly summon, is akin to a sign that one luck have changes.....and may win TOTO soon.

it will take up to 2 weeks to receive a letter for those offences and since it carries demerit points, it will register on the TP website only after the official summon is issued. unlike parking offences which is immediately available on the web after 1 to 2 days.

good luck on your appeal. drive carefully

I can understand if it takes some time to link that offence to an IC number becaused they need to first determine who was the driver, but surely, they should at least update the website immediately if the search is using car reg number.

What is the value of the search website if they delay the update for so many days after the letter requesting for driver information was issued out to the owner of the car.
