A very solid car, my grandpa had one for almost 20yrs. Then he changed to a preFL W220 which he got rid of in less than 5yrs due to too much issues.

Don't really think this Defender is rare but the wood trimmings is what that caught my eyes . Hope he can maintain the outdoor wood in our weather. But the wood is really charming and sets its apart from the others. Enjoy the weekend!

who will pay $185K (asking prx) for such a car???

Ppl who want one but don't want to go thru the hassle of hunting down one and getting it restored in Japan , then handling the logistics and paper work of shipping it into SG and thereafter all the red tape getting it registered in SG.  Someone will sure  buy one. You go Japan want to buy these cars sometime the Jippun lang also won't sell you cos you gaijin.

This car change hands at least once liao....

My dad used to own this Charade SG. I wouldn't be too enthusiastic about it, this car sucked even in the 90s, only 3 speed auto & lots of mechanical problems. I'm surprised Someone actually managed to keep it till now!

However I actually saw the Hatchback Charade on the road today....so coincidental.

This car have lots of mechanical problems and yet this car can still survive until today very amazing le?! Lol.

This is the rare merc that my mech had once suggested that I buy...

Wonder in the log card, it is considered how many doors (6?), and insurance will be higher or lower than normal...

Yeah loh! How did he accomplished that? Every morning start engine and pull choke at the same time for the past 20 years?

Lol, but to be fair our car is preowned so maybe the car is already a screw up lemon thanks to previous owner...
