Gnahp Turbocharged October 1, 2016 Share October 1, 2016 There is only regular, classic and off peak schemes in singapore, iirc. When I use the word 'vintage', it is a figure of speech to denote cars more than 30years since import Singapore allows importing foreign vintage vehicles into Singapore only for classic scheme. For regular scheme, vehicles must not be more than 3 years old. As such, a vintage car on our roads on regular plates is definitely registered locally since the first day. A vintage car on classic scheme may be foreign imported, which compared similar makes are multiple times cheaper than the local equivalent. As such, if one has a vintage car, he should keep it on regular plate as not to diminish it's value. Unless the coe and road tax are killers of course. But if so, why not stick to bnb cars? the value gained from retaining regular plate is far less than the full PQP COE paid ↡ Advertisement

But if so, why not stick to bnb cars? to have a classic car or as you call it a vintage car ; You must be a hobbyist and have the time to maintain them and deep pocketed too & the workshop mechanic is your best friend always as he is always happy to see your car drive in to his workshop and his cash register can "kahching" everytime; Also people whom own such cars will have a regular car to use as the limit is only 28 days per year

Fcw75 Hypersonic October 4, 2016 Share October 4, 2016 (edited) Often these are assembled in shops, rather than factories! Hahaha, that's a good one. Rather than using sophisticated robot arm to assemble in factory, the shop don't know use what arm. Edited October 4, 2016 by Fcw75

SiLangKia Supersonic October 4, 2016 Share October 4, 2016 (edited) Spotted this rocket from the 90s, used to be a familiar sight and I've always wanted one. Not many of this version of the WRX left on local roads thanks to our uniquely expensive invisible paper. Brillant car in its day (and even today) with almost unmatched power to dollar ratio, I'm sure many here have fond ( or not so fond ) memories of this beast Edited October 4, 2016 by SiLangKia ↡ Advertisement
