If its chrome sticker only, maybe not illegal?

And sticker quite harmless in the sense that may not affect the durability of the material (eg during crash)

Not sure whether owner notify change in vehicle colour or not at one motoring using singpass.

But quite likely that the registered owner will receive LTA letter soon, requesting to send the car to one of the vehicle inspection centre.

It's not about the durability. More of causing danger to other road users. Not very "visible" and causing potential accident.

But LTA also must be very sure that they can find under which  Section in their books to bring the book to the owner, nowadays people very daring one and dare to screw authorities also if they feel they did something which they think is just novel or meets their fancy , so those so called scholars also have to be well prepared to find a fault

Chome, whether sticker or not is illegal. Sure never notify change also cuz LTA don't allow Chrome colors. Unless he declared it as silver. Lol. One of my friends got called up for inspection cuz he wrapped his car in a chrome color also. LTA told him chrome not allowed cuz too distracting for other drivers cuz of the reflections.

Everytime i'm on the PIE going home, i pass by these 2 and always wanted to have a look. Yesterday finally got some free time and swung over for a short look-see look-see. I think they've been there forever. No idea who owns them or why they are just left there to rot. Both look to be in pretty bad shape. The wheels and brakes on the cars look salvageable but with no lead, i guess they will just continue to sit there abandoned and collecting rainwater.

So sad...

Car in front has a strange 968 front end conversion semi-done. Maybe it was someone's project at one point in time.

Chassis exposed to the elements and corroding away

Not much of an interior left

Looks like an NA

Car behind seems to be in slightly better shape, but that's not really saying much.

DSC_0006_2.jpg

Interior much more intact, and what looked like an RS or RUF steering wheel inside in pretty decent shape.

IU unit implying that this was most likely a local car

No intercooler, so not sure if this is really a Turbo.
