i took from a shell station opposite Thomson Medical sometimes in early 2016. the mech from a workshop there said the owner is not selling even if is offer above $100k. so i'm surprise that it has been sold. maybe the real owner is too old liao.

I still have the brochure for this 1st gen Civic. Haven't seen this in quite awhile, is there anymore left in SG?

Well this was my first own bought ride, COE was $9800 back then in 1990 ... it was a good car, I keep the brochures/Invoices of my old cars somehow always

I don't think this car is ever registered to be used on our road. It is donated by Komoco Motor to ITE College West for training purpose.

And thanks, this should be the 2nd gen Elantra.

Mine did not have much major problems, except once I had to change some steering ball joints which I did not send to Agent as they quoted some 4 figure amount ; Only towards the end of its life the rear lights started to collect water somehow, even after I silicon the whole unit up and my lights looks like a fish tank, also the car was very low which was the trend back then and then in 2000's most of the saloon cars became taller somehow, so this car became quite a dwarf

Most likely you might have inherited my car   [laugh]  as I had no problems andy maybe yet to come; and mileage was low too at 60,000km on the 10th year; so maybe many dealers would have wanted it from me; One thing I remembered is that I did not do servicing for a year when I delivered to the Agent as I knew I will be off loading it; The colour was also the same as per the brochure also; grey silver like which was the "trending colour" at that time;

I got the car when it was 13 years old already, IIRC already 110k km on the odometer. Also the car colour was light blue with blue/black interiors.

Don't remember many issues except the interior trim pieces were brittle and some snapped off.
