BMWs & Mercs losing Exclusivity ???

When you see merc and BMW everywhere, of course they lose level of desirability.

 

K5 looks good when I see them in Singapore roads. But they look so common in Seoul.

But a good car is still a good car. Many people have Iphones in Sunny Singapore. Doesn't make it a bad phone, unless the buyer wanted to stand out.

depreciation for a bmw or merc is about 13 to 15k annually or will cost more depending on the model

 

13k to 15k is used car depreciation for entry models of BMW and Merc.

 

Looks like you dunno about the new car prices.

Agree it takes the shine away. Nobody says it becomes a bad car.

If your 5 series may be big fxxk in carpark of Nissan sunnies. If the rest also driving 5 series, no more big fxxk. So difficult to understand?

 

Somemore now hdb also can find A8.

Not difficult to understand, but what I am implementing is that whether you are buying a 5er to show off, or a 5er because its a good car? If the latter, then it doesn't matter if many people also have the same ride right.

The fact is when every has one, it loses it's exclusivity. It has no relationship to why you buy it.
