Just my personal view after trying quite a number of qd ....

Armor all butter wax + armor all detailer is perfect for me ...anyone had tried both product ?

I do have a VIP package which does every 6mth of clay bar + waxing + ........ Many many more for exterior and interior of my car and it's superb...but it's kind of a hobby to do some quick car wash, liquid waxing & cleaning up of my car weekly...usually 2 hr every weekend...tried lots of product which is available off the shelf of supermarket & autobac...until I tried armor all butter wax & armor all detailer...this two is perfect together...

Anyone tried this two products?

Armor all butter wax:

Smoothness after apply - 10/10

Rain resistance - 6/10 (will be almost all gone after 4-5 heavy downpour)

Water beading - 9/10

Shineness - 8/10

Protection - 9/10 (esp against bird poop as mine is open carpark, even poop dry up easily remove using detailer...even without detailer...dried poop can easily removed by slight push and whole poop will pop out...and some detailer to clean up the poop area)

Armor all detailer:

Smoothness 10/10 (totally same as butter wax)

Rain resistance - 5/10 (tho it will be gone in like 2-3 heavy downpour but it's perfect for quick detailing if not time for butter wax)

Water beading - 9/10

Shininess - 8/10

Prow rio. - 9/10

Overall their detailer almost same as butter wax just less rain resistance...Hopefully it's useful for bro looking for qd.

check out the detailing section, apart from a few meguairs products and some cheap and good stuff like soft99 and higlaze 88, most off the shelf just cmi, armourall only product i think is good is the rim protector

some good products dont cost that much more, u can try duragloss and optimax stuff pretty good and ask bro benny for recommendation. afterall if you are spending a few hrs each time might as well get some decent stuff

Any reviews on Armor All Ultra Shine Liquid Polish?? This is step one. TS saying the butter wax and detailing is step 2 and 3.

Quite tempted to buy and try the ultra shine liquid polish since it is only $13 at Autobacs current promo, comes with free cloth some more...

looking for quick and easy application and to remove some hairline scratches from 5 year old, sheltered paintwork.. so i think the condition still not too jialat.

i think armorall products works well on cars with very good painwork. for your 5 year old car, durogloss or autoglym is much better at polishing off some of the minor defects.
