Phluvcat 6th Gear February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 (edited) sometimes emotionally unemotional.....life is a paradox, where one lives towards death. Live your life, be good, show empathy and forgiveness. Just before Lunar New Year, I spent a good deal of more than 2 hours chatting with him in the office, just heart to heart talk, to take his mind off his sick wife. He told me she has got a year more to go, nothing more. And this afternoon I received news that his wife passed away, leaving behind him and their 3 kids. She is probably just in her early forties. He cried nothing but empty tears, life had become a daily dose of anesthetic ever since his wife contracted lung cancer. Just some time back, after having successfully removed the infected lung, there was a hint of optimism. Then came the relapse. Oh, then she would not have much of the chance, I thought, but I kept my mouth shut. I believed he knew it too. My grandmother was just one of the many examples where the cart got out of a rut and soon after clashes down the cliff. This can happen to anyone, its not uncommon, some may even feel mechanical about it...what is the big deal, that is life. But to me, it simply serves as a reminder not to take things for granted. Treasure your fellow MCFers, make friends, not enemies. Edited February 9, 2012 by Phluvcat ↡ Advertisement

Babyt 4th Gear February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 (edited) was she a smoker? i understand a minority will suffer lung cancer even though they r not smoker. u guys may want to try taking chlorella and spirullina supplement. chlorella is supposed to be good in minimising risk of cancer, spirullina in flushing out toxin. i buy from iherb.com ... based on US, it offers affordable supplements and price is very cheap compare to sg here. use my referral code VUK879 for $5 for first timer if u r keen. hmm hope i m not given yellow card for advertising...im just giving bros here an opportunity to get cheaper supplements online. Yes,anything that can cure cancer is worth a try. But even doctors admit that we are 20 years behind time. Anyway, let's hope that some so called alternative medicine can prove it with data.
