Anyone bought car performance parts from HK or Shenzhen?

Hi guys, gonna be going HK 1st time, wondering any mbers can share experience that you bought a performance part from a reputable shop? I am looking for BOV and maybe 6 Pot Big Brake Kit.

I buy Tom n trd parts last time. Much cheaper than sg even add in shipping.

Are you guys competent enough to tell the difference between an authentic example and a 水货? no offence but if not, i think better don't risk it since you mention parts which are core components not anciliary like wiper rubbers etc.

Go to macau dog race place... I think they have a few good workshop there as I did walk thru the back alleys.

I have been to the car parts wholesale centres in HK, SZ and GZ. Really a lot of good stuff there. Yes must be expert enough to tell good parts from lousy quality parts. But even 水货 many also not bad quality. They call it 水货 not because quality no good, but because it is smuggled OEM parts, illegally smuggled out of the factories and or across the border.

thanks all, wanted to check and calculate my cost before i go on my trip, but guess need to go there and walk walk. best is get those no tag or label but from an branded oem factory! but yea hard to see the diff. was hoping someone bought and know remember which shop so i dun need worry on fake stuffs!
