Yuan 6th Gear February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 sigh. yes, you're the smartest again. everybody has dreams and aspirations. I can imagine it to be a dream for most managers to one day lead england to the world cup victory. Heck, even managing England is a privilege. of course, not everybody has the same aspirations, or has the balls to take on such a task. but what do i know, Im not as smart as you. If one day England wins the World Cup due to a certain manager's brillance and capabilities and the players are all from Div 1 or 2, then the EPL can close shop already. ↡ Advertisement
Joseph22 Turbocharged February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 Capello used to manage RM before. yeah but i dont think they will want him back.. Real fans want them to play attractive football... last i heard, the fans are still not happy with Jose because Marid is not playing beautiful enough. Scion Turbocharged February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 Gerard will get in the way of Wilshere. I pick Parker over Stevie. Parker is more of a defensive midfielder... I pick Gerrard becos: 1. he's leader on the field, can command respect from the young players 2. he's more efficient playing the attacking midfield position 3. his playmaking abilities is still excellent, able to spray a long pass, and has the fitness to go box to box Wilshere or Parker can cover the back for him, letting him more room to roam upfront Oxlade-Chamberlain definitely can be a super-sub, just in case Adam Johnson nua (he's quite inconsistent this season).. England's left wing has been problematic for many many years this is a good chance to test out the hungrier players and a more daring formation, just dunno the new manager has the time to test anot Phil Jones, if not injured, is a must... his versatility can see him deployed at center back, defensive midfield or even push upfront when in need of a goal

Tonyhawk 1st Gear February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 of course if you are talking about dreams and aspirations, then yes go ahead. this 2 definite logic. but given the support spurs had given to him in the run up to his tax evation issue. I think dreams and aspirations have to be set aside. support in the tax evasion case? like how, not firing him? or paying for his costs? if your country asks you to be the minister of transport to solve its transport woes, and assuming you are the best person for the job. would you rise to the challenge and put everything aside? but lets get back to the point. redknapp can decide either way, there's no SMART decision here. there are pros and cons either way, and only he can decide, for himself. only time will tell which decision is the smart one. to me, there are clear parallels to be drawn with our present dearth of political talent. but lets not politicise this discussion. Yuan 6th Gear February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 (edited) Time to change the manager and players ...... current England players doesn't look energetic enough..... players like Lampar, JT, Reo F,..... etc... Most of the younger English players have been dispersed into other clubs, some from the smaller ones. While playing altogether in one club may help, opportunities should be given to these younger English players who are doing well in the EPL or those overseas (I can only remember Joe Cole who is not young anymore). Toothiewabbit Supersonic February 9, 2012 Share February 9, 2012 (edited) Time to change the manager and players ...... current England players doesn't look energetic enough..... players like Lampar, JT, Reo F,..... etc... Problem is England has no big pool of players to choose from leh. The only really good replacements are Wilshere (anyone seen YouTube clips of him bossing the midfield during the CL game with Barcelona?) and Oxlade-Chamberlain Edited February 9, 2012 by Toothiewabbit ↡ Advertisement
