Paypal Plishing

Anyone kena before?

 

My younger sis-in-law kena this...her paypal acct was hacked and 2 transactions was made for USD505 & Euro275...

 

Her paypal acct was linked to her POSB debit card (Magnitude or something like that)...and the 2 amts were debited from the acct....

 

She has raised the dispute with Paypal and awaiting their resolution. At the same time, the old POSB card was deactivated and new one issued.

 

** Prior to that, she also kena FB scam of $2K...those who read the news will know cos that person arrested and charged in court liao....

 

Just wanna get more advises on any other solution beside de-linking Paypal acct....
