suppose i walked out today to buy a 'sports' car that is not ridiculous (ferrari/lambo/ > 6L engine)

the only japanese or korean sports car i can buy are

- honda civic type r

- mazda rx8

- nissan fairlady

- nissan gtr

if being strict, a true sports car should be RWD/AWD. thus only mazda and nissan have sports cars

the contis seem to have a much longer list

- VW jetta sports

- VW golf

- VW scirocco

- bmw (everything they have)

- mini coupe

seems like a mass departure from the japanese of old, with the nsx, prelude, celica and others

any other japanese car that i'm missing?

Rather glaring omissions of the WRX, the STI and the Evo.

I think (not sure, though) that Expertz is female. Apologies to Expertz if I remembered wrongly.

Wanted to mention the Miata, but wasn't sure whether Expertz had minimum power/torque criteria in mind before calling a car a "sports car". But I would personally consider the Miata a nice sportscar, purely on the strength of its handling and tossability.

And maybe the Porsche falls into the "ridiculous" category, I dunno. Nowhere near as "ridiculous" as Ferraris and Lambos, but many models still have high displacement engines (higher than the Japanese cars, anyway).

Yes Bro. the Miata is the, some would call it, "basic" sportscar, basic is to them, till they handled the car. (I own one now, thanks to Rad)

the power and handling is something that cannot be written in words.

Don't consider the Porsche as ridiculous (My Cayman.:D) it's another level up from the Miata.

I love both.
