Tigerwoods Turbocharged February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 Can public transport company allow to make so much profit? Shouldn't all the access profit (after salary, bonus, maintenance...etc) goes back to the public? You see the money earned from these privatised entities goes to fund our SWF invest in Stocks and shares overseas mainly But they had been on a losing streak for a while yet the small pool of people continued to reap mirrion $ salaries and bonuses. In SG only a few cents trickle down to the peasants while the BULK goes up the food chain.

It's a listed company. rightfully and legally speaking it can earn as much as it chooses. any access profit should go back to shareholders like me. Please SMRT raise the freaking fares! it's too freaking low!

QwertyN Neutral Newbie February 7, 2012 Share February 7, 2012 frankly speaking, find me a profit making organisation that find earning less than previous year is can one. Not that i think SMRT Should be Profit making. transports in countries are suppose to make us civilians life better , more convenient than juz wanting to make profit and earning money from us.. alot of countries if u want an example...
