wait until they met bigger supercars. they wont dare to flim cos they cant catch up.

you understand the polis Evo was chasing at high speeds on normal roads with normal traffic? The argument of whether they should have abandoned the chase due to risk aside, you think it is so easy to keep up at high speed and yet not put other innocent road users in danger?

If you notice, the driver did not maintain throttle at the bends merging into another road. There was at least one occasion when they stopped to allow one motorist/cub bike go straight. if not, why won't they simply do a power slide and maintain throttle through the bends? The bends are where the polis Evo keep conceding distance. And that was not due to the fact that the Satria GTI could drift and the Evo couldn't, a la Initial D style.

it was about consideration for public safety, plain and simple.

theres chances that this chase is staged to show the media how "competent" msian police are.. most of the time they're just chilling away at a corner unless theres carrot heads to give kopi money

I love Malaysia polis. They are definitely on-the-ball and very skillful and tough.

I mean, you ask SINGAPORE POLICE boys to drive normal Toyota Corolla and they can either drive into long-kang or get into accident with other cars on the road. Correct or not? I am speaking based on statistics, not that I look down on the SINGAPORE POLICE boys.

The Malaysian polis, you give them some coffee money and they will help u solve matters. The Singapore police? Hopeless. Give money also hopeless. Now must give BJ like what the IT executive did to the horny men in CNB and SCDF.

Those scholars with hidden talent exposed? [shakehead]

I thought the polis was more concern for their own safety not to drift at each bend. It was a chase well done despite the dangers along the route.

1st case...proton satria gti tried to escape a roadblock n was chased after. follow up checks was made n the car was reported stolen less than 24 hrs earlier. Chasing the suspect..the police recorded speed of 180km/hr which nearly resulted in one chase car nearly losing control after going through a speed bump at speed. the suspect even beat a red light n did several high speed cornering to elude the police. The suspect finally gave up after going through a toll barrier resulting in a smashed windscreen. The police team is called skuad helang lebuhraya or highway eagle squad.

2nd case was a high speed chase resulting in the arrest of a suspect who had shabu in his car.

I believe driving at that speed along that route at that point in time, a little reckless. [:p]

You are a biased man or just talking without thinking unless you are able to show statistic that Singapore Police cars "langar" more than Malaysian Police cars. Think some of our Police force driving normal cars chase drugs trafficker in their normal cars also very hiong and experience. It is just that you neber see and want to talk. [bigcry]

Neutral Newbie

Haha, some nice chase work from the Polis. I'm reminded of this older clip (which was actually a movie shot, but using real police in their cars):
