Stick to topic la, not everyone can drive and afford luxury cars like you.....

Sorry la boss lol.. I was comparing phaeton with LS, touraque with RX... Feel vw better. If compare passat and camry, i go for passat interior. For jetta and K5 i go for K5.. simply for model and diff class, even interior i feel about the same

Yup.

Was quite surprised. WRX and EVO these days stick to 2nd lane. Haha.

Guess their insurance is darn expensive, together with the excess. haha.

And maybe because these cars are getting on with age, so more maintenance issues?? So drive slower to prevent fatigue of the engine. =D

These guys knew they can out beat any cars on the road. So they do not need to show that. Normally, those who are driving smaller or mid size Jap cars are trying hard to show they are great. [nosebleed]

I realise those luxury cars owners like to cruise comfortably on the roads, most likely the interior is plush and comfortable so cruise steadily instead of cutting and weaving in and out traffic like can't wait to get out of cars.

For me if I drive powerful car with not so cushy feel, I will most probably prefer to utilise the power more than to enjoy the ride maybe because it's not cushy enough.

This is the post of a report on the VW CEO seeing the threat from the Korean car manufacturers.

Do the German brands (VW, BMW, Merc) cars come in manual as default in Germany ? My memory may be fuzzy as I'vent been there for quite a while but I do rem seeing a lot of manual cars there on the roads.

Actually the Jetta isn't quite popular in Germany, Golf is, follow by Passat. The exterior of passat is very executive & nice, but interior still typical VW.

VW are generally price above the typical B&B french, Opel & Italian Fiat cars, as well as Japanese & Korean cars in most markets, so you cannot say its a cheap car . That's what I have been saying.

I will let you guys debate if the interior & reliability is better or worst than other, but VW is not perceive as cheap car by any means else where. If read UK reviews, they also say the VW badge is more desirable & have more resale value.

Firstly my dsg has alway go 7 speed even when I drive at 60 km/h..

Secondly, what is your comment that the 7th speed is rarely used based on..

I have nothing to say about new Jetta interior since I had not test drive before, but a roc with hard plastic? I don't know about you but the Roc I touch while not luxury, is definitely not hard plastic..

try driving around with a top speed of 40km/h and see if your jetta switches to the 7th gear, you'll be surprised it doesn't. thus proving me right.

do note the 40km/h figure, then read my post on 7th gear being too underpowered for 40km/h
