Bro KARTer, I feel like..We're similar to Sugarcanes, planted separately in the field or sugarcane platation, for their(PAP) bumper harvesting to cut-off easily, squeeze out all juices(CPF,GIC,GLC,GST,Ministerial Pay,ect...), leave behind a dried substance in English Term known as "BAGASSE".

At least, the Bagasse can turn into good use for Paper Pulp Recycling and burns in furnace as heat energy for power generating, but...our Bagasse been penalised as one that always rely on our guavament for basic livings, from young to old working lifetime, our hard earned monies that we silently contributed monthly into CPF Board for Nation Building Unconditionally, during ND they stands out to glorify their own Elite's capabability and credits for the Nation GDP Growth, our peoples are incompetent, they opens both arms for FT(fresher sugarcanes) to help compelling competitiveness(cheaper, faster, better).

Please clarify Meritocracy, what merits does our people's shared besides the few hundreds dollars received 1~2 weeks before GE. Public Housing HDB Flats, Private/Commercial Property, Car, Energy Source and basic living needs are inflated sky high against ageing population earning lower wages, the poor ones with less savings in over coming any setbacks, the old ones are label as burdens and asked to retire next door.

Mahjulah Singapura ? I think it's more likely "Mahjulah PAP Sahaja" [mad]

Likes* haha

That is after accident right? This makes me to recall our famous lady in Lexus saying she could not hear anything because Lexus is with too good noise insulation!

I like to believe she was on hand-free so she told partial truth to the court with that statement. [:p] Many/most people usually prefer to believe the wealthier party to be right or telling the truth.

what the van driver choose to do is beyond TS. Its what TS chooses to do that may decide if the two vehicles are going to touch.

yeah its not an excuse and we can rant about it, nothing wrong with that but two wrongs never make a right so yeah, defensive driving and learn to let go lah.

just before CNY that Thursday, along Bukit Timah Road towards Hillview, this taxi was stuck behind a row of cars filtering right. I was at 70 and he had almost stopped and barely a quarter of a car in front of my front right. The taxi then chose to signal and immediately came out. I was like knnbccb all the way, left got cars, back got cars some distance behind and the car in front of the taxi, seeing the taxi swerved out, also follow suit and end up taxi not only cut me, he also jam-braked and I the third and last vehicle to brake. I dunno how close but think any closer my CNY will be ruined.

knn have to still keep to my lane to make the biggest room to brake without affecting adjacent lanes and so worried car behind bang into me. I was really knnbccb allll thhheeee waaayyyy.

i actually chased the Sonata for a very short distance but chose to let it go, not because its CNY but the road is crowded, totally not safe.

there you go, I took this opportunity to rant a bit...hur hur hur.

exactly. Heat of the moment, you never know how you'll react. It alright to sit back now and point fingers, but even if we think we are very calm, at that time we may react differently. Can't blame anyone except learn to react differently next time. Still doesn't excuse the van driver. I'd throw the book at him.

Aiya, people here like Mr-c@ckst3r-user like that one ma..all saints and all holy..the video is just to show a van driver cutting in dangerously from chevron marking, I repeat chevron marking hor mr c@ckst3r-user..

If your wife or gf was the one who showed you this video, u will react differently, if u were to be in my shoes at that point of time, u will react differently as well..so don't come telling me I got ample time to brake. I avoided any form of collision in anyway u see it. Sorry ah bro, I rant a bit when people like mr c@ckst3r-user acting all holy and mighty. Cheers!

Like what puluvcat said, you can always anticipate others actions to make driving less stressful.

It is wrong for the van driver to cut in like this but 2 wrongs doesn't make 1 right.

At that angle, you are already in the van's blindspot. No matter how you highbeam, the van driver had already committed to "taking" the lane.

If one is more "fierce" than you, live and let live. If one is less fierce than you, you wouldnt even to bother to upload videos. Only people with ego problems will do such things uploading to the net.

agreed! if he squeeze in u lan lan muz slow down to let him come in oso ma..

Ya we must lan lan slow down. I don't believe you will be all saint and don't be mad about it. As drivers like this always cause fatal accidents, not a pleasant sight.

Recently at ang mo kio ave 1, there was this fatal accident involving a bike and taxi. I was at that scene. Not sure who is right or wrong, but a life is lost (father of two). Live and let live? I haven't met gracious drivers like what many MCF bros claimed they are. All just talks.

What I'm trying to put across is, life could be lost by a van who lost his way or "made an honest mistake" like some bro here said.
