How long you/frens keep the original plastic wraps of your new car's seats etc???

 

I saw some owners still keeping these plastic wraps after 1 year!!!

 

Mine were gone the moment i took the car from the dealer.... only the plastic wraps for the foot pedals' are still partially there after 5 years :o

Plastic emits poisonous vapours especially after being left in the hot sun. Actually not much further harm done to body, especially if you know how many plastic parts are used in car's interior. But still.

 

Ok health issues aside. Why want to keep plastic wrap on seats? The luxurious leather is for us to enjoy, not wrap up.

 

It is like these people like to use condom.

 

For us, we love bare back. :D

in fact i ask them to tear it off before delivery to save me the trouble....come on a car is for using...don't love the car more than yourself....

Yah, I don understand why ppl want to cover their leather seat with plastics or T shirt, and in the end change car every 4/5 yrs. What, protect the seat for next owner?

Perhaps never had the car parked under the hot sun, so no issue with the plastic wrap trapping hot air for him to sit on (I believe mad for his didi) [laugh]

I remove immediately when i collect my car. why leave e plastic there? damn fugly

maybe his didi needs melted plastic to 'wrap round' ----> permanent condom!! :D
